The popular coastal villages of St Mawes, Portscatho and Mevagissey are all within a few miles of Veryan making this a wonderful central location within this popular holiday location. The King Harry Ferry (approximately 4 miles distant) provides a short cut to Falmouth and the west of the county and Truro city which is the hub of the county.

Owners Comments
Running the B and B in Veryan is a delight and we are only moving for a warmer climate! At the moment we use 3 of the bedrooms for B & B. One is Superior and we rent it out at £95 per night and the others are £80. We don’t allow children or pets and we offer a 2 night minimum stay. We still get fully booked and could take on way more should we wish but choose to turn away the business to enjoy our lifestyle. We have been told many times we could charge higher figures due to the high level of accommodation and the locality of the property; being near the beautiful beaches of Carne and Rosevine and being in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are lots of high end weddings in the area (especially at St Just in Roseland church, a short distance away). We have had great success offering Group Bookings, for such events and have taken on families and friends of the Bride and Groom in 4 bedrooms (using the top floor bedroom as the fourth). So this is another market that can be further exploited. The Superior bedroom is also big enough to have the Bride stay and get ready for her big day with family/bridesmaids in other bedrooms. There is amazing scope to greatly increase the revenue…..
